First Responders

Code 3 Counseling

It may be your battle, but you don't have to fight it alone.

Alisha Sweyd provides services to first responders and their families through Code 3 Counseling. Alisha is the co-founder and director of Code 3 Counseling with her father and retired police officer, Shawn R. Cavin.
Through Code 3 Counseling, first responders (including law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, and military) are provided with individualized and competent mental health services by counselors who understand the culture of first responders.
First Responders often have a difficult time finding and connecting with a counselor due to the lack of understanding and awareness of the first responder culture. Alisha has lived in a first responder family since birth, and has a passion for supporting those who live a life a service. She understands that this is not just a job, it is a calling. Alisha has made it part of her professional mission to help make sure your calling does not come at the sacrifice of your entire identity and your relationships.
